Nominator's project description
| Professor Sultan Muhesen is one of the world-leading experts in oriental archaeology. His research has been focused on the earliest cultures of Syria. Sultan Muhesen directed many excavations which yielded important stratigraphies and outstanding hominid finds. He authored five standard arabic monographs on Archaeology and has been responsible for rescue archaeology and heritage management in Syria and Qutar over many years. |
